Doraemon & Heidi - Something in common
Play it!
I've got to know that Lorena knows Japanese cartoon "Doraemon" and likes it so much. I wonder how it is translated into Spanish, but am sure that the world of Doraemon should be universal. Here is its Spanish version.
Then we proceeded(?) to next common cartoons. To my surprise, Lorena has been familiar with a lot of Japanese cartoons. This is one of them, and of course, my big favorite! Heidi! This is sung in Japanese.
When the Japanese version started, Lorena started to sing it in Spanish. For sure, there is also the Spanish version on YouTube!
OK, do you think this is not training matter?
Oh, yes, it is.
It is "Multimedia", directrly related to MTEC! :) :)

8th subject - Web basics
The end of the training is approaching.
Good for Lorena, but sad for us.
She has been showing the remarkable achievement in this training.
The second from the last is "Web Basics".
Of course, Lorena has already been familiar with the Internet.
This subject, though, covers the basic knowledge of it such as its history, architecture and transmission of information.

6th subject - Printed media
Lorena already as a certain skills in producing leaflets.
Here in MTEC, though, "Printed Media" is presented from the approach of "Instructional Design (ID)".
The subject focuses on a newsletter of the field trip on the day before.
Analyzing the target readers, the objectives of the letter, the methods of evaluation (whether the objectives are achieved, how much of them, etc.) are considered.

4th subject - Digital video production
Lorena has met very unique instructors so far.
Miguelito is pure Okinawan with Spanish name (he named himself) and James Bond (Uramoto san introduces himself this way), for example.
We thought, though, this guy would be called as his official name, Kiyuna san.
When Lorena met him, she got to know his first name is Kenji....then....Lorena got an idea! "Name of Barbie's boyfriend is Ken!" So now, Kiyuna san is Ken as Barbie's boyfriend.
Well, anyway, the 4th topic of the training is "Digital video production" with Ken san.

3rd subject - Instructional design
Spent only one day, though, this is very important subject in MTEC.
Instructional design is located at the top of every subject in MTEC, as long as we persue "education" and "communication".
The subject was presented by Maekawa san, aka Miguelito.

Michie san is also looking into lenz.(left) - Lorena checking the camera settings.(left)
For sure, the review of the shots is another very important activity.

There are four Spanish speaking members (Ale and Ariel from Argentina, Claudia from Bolivia, and Jabier from Panama). I hope they can be good guides for them. Of course, the others too.
Bienvenidos a Okinawa!
Welcome to Okinawa!
